Yactraq has three offerings, Speech2Ads, Speech2Topics and Custom Solutions.
Speech2Ads:
Speech2Ads is an end-to-end service provided by Yactraq to video & audio publishers. It includes providing Yactraq plugins for various video players that may be used by publishers. The Yactraq plugin communicates directly with Yactraq cloud servers to process speech within the video/audio content and convert it into a localized stream of contextually relevant ads, delivered by Yactraq’s advertising partners, which are then fed back to the user in real time.
For example a user story would go something like:
“Dr.Calvin decided to test drive her new iPad3 by opening her Bloomberg app. She clicked on a video about a car show in New York that contained information on cars of the future, and soon noticed an ad for Tesla Motors at the bottom of her screen. Intrigued by the idea of electric cars she clicked on the ad and decided to check out the new model S sedan on Tesla’s website”.
In this above illustration, if Bloomberg were using Yactraq’s Speech2Ads offering then the appearance of an electric car ad by Tesla would be driven by the fact that Yactraq’s AI software understands the context of “cars of the future” in the content of the video, and then delivers a relevant ad to the user. As you can see this improves user engagement overall and thereby quality of traffic from an advertiser’s point of view. Traffic quality in turn positively impacts click-thru & CPM rates, and therefore revenue.
Speech2Ads Revenue Model: Yactraq and the video publisher would share advertising revenues as illustrated in below revenue flow diagram.
Speech2Topics:
Publishers who want to take their end-user experience to a whole new level by providing precise video/audio search, discovery & navigation features can subscribe to Yactraq’s Speech2Topics service. Yactraq is open to various revenue models for Speech2Topics including ad revenue sharing, per topic transaction fees or a monthly cloud service fee.
Custom Solutions:
Yactraq also serves customers (in sectors ranging from security to market research) who require the creation of custom solutions, including customized topics sets and distributed processing.
